A bit about me

My parents moved to Craigieburn when I was one, and I am still a local today. I grew up seeing cows in the paddocks, and can easily remember the concentration needed in turning right onto Craigieburn Road from Bridgewater Road before traffic lights made their first appearance here.

My first encounter with osteopathy was as a 17 year old. A family friend had simply mentioned the term ‘Osteopath’ during our conversation. I had no idea what an osteopath was, and intrigue lead me to do some research. That research led me to discovering a profession that to this day, is I find so interesting, challenging, and immensely rewarding.

I love osteopathy’s consideration of the whole person. I value our role in healthcare where we have time to listen not only with our ears, but also with our hands. When we listen holistically, we find connections, and gain a deeper appreciation of the story of why someone is coming to see us.

Putting that together with the other tools in my tool box (like stretching, strengthening, nutrition, ergonomic and much more), and collaborating with other members of your healthcare team whether it’s your GP, paediatrician, lactation consultant, trainer, or exercise physiologist, I want to provide you with well rounded care and empower you through your recovery.

The human body can teach us so much when we listen, and there is always more to learn. It is an honour to be part of your health journey when you take steps towards the life you want to live.
