Osteopathy for the whole family, including newborns
Hello neighbours, it’s great to be back in Craigieburn to offer osteopathic services to my local community!
For those whom I’ve yet to meet, welcome! I have grown up in the area and am passionate about bringing Osteopathy to my neighbourhood, in particular, to service the little ones of our growing community. I treat newborns and children, and of course adults, through pregnancy, and the elderly.
Graduating from RMIT university in 2008, I gained distinctions in both a Bachelor of Applied Science (Comp Med – Ost), and in a Masters of Osteopathy. I have completed further professional development in paediatrics, ergonomics, strength and conditioning, and cranial osteopathy to name a few. I am particularly interested in paediatric care, family care and cranial osteopathy.
I provide osteopathic care to a diverse range of people, from newborns, to expectant mothers, to the elderly, and everyone in between! Osteopaths can be part of your management team for musculoskeletal aches and pains and the effects of degenerative joints, sporting injuries, desk or work posture related issues, pregnancy related musculoskeletal conditions, exercised based rehab, and much more.
For our older community members, I understand the unique challenges that come with aging, such as stiffness, balance and arthritis. I am here to support an active and independent lifestyle, promoting your confidence to enjoy doing the things you love.
Hands on treatment is one part of the many things I can offer you. I want to educate you, not just about your injury, but on your recovery and what you can do to get there. From tailored stretches and strengthening exercises, to self massage techniques and practical advice for daily activities (e.g work, home or sports based), my goal to empower you with the tools to manage your condition.
Osteopaths are university trained and government registered health professionals, and you don’t need a referral to access our services. However, if you do have a CDM/Chronic Disease Management plan (previously known as an EPC plan) from your GP, then you can have access to a number of Medicare rebated sessions (more about that here).
I look forward to being a part of your health and wellness journey.
